Most software on VSC4 is installed via spack, to list available software packages use: 

spack find

To list all available packages compiled with a specific compiler (gcc 9.1.0 in this example): 

spack find %gcc@9.1.0

A specific version can be requested as well: 

spack find openmpi@4.1.0

It is also possible to combine
