VSC-4 Hardware
VSC-4 includes 790 nodes in total. One node comes with 2 sockets, each of them equipped with 1 CPU (24 cores), leading to 48 physical cores per node (level 2 hyper-threading, hence, 96 logical cores).
The CPUs are of type Intel Xeon Platinum 8174 Processor @ 3.1 GHz (formerly Skylake) - also see -> Intel ARK database
Partitions
VSC-4 has 3 different partitions, namely,
- mem_0096 with 96 GB RAM (700 nodes),
- mem_0384 with 384 GB RAM (78 nodes),
- mem_0768 with 768 GB RAM (12 nodes).
